youtube music shows no tracks in playlist

youtube music is selected as default player in left settings but shows the current track as 0, playlist length as 0 and no other items in the playlist.

music controls and song info all works fine. brand new widget with nothing else in it to cause conflicts.

using a fresh install of kwgt 3.49 on pixel4 xl Android 11

is this a bug with YTmusic? or am I missing something?

I also noticed that youtube videos show in the player.

it's like the two apps are getting combined
