I’m also old, fat, bald, gray, lazy, and my wife’s still married. I’ve been using KWGT for years, but being an “old dog” I really don’t care to learn new tricks. Recently, pretty much everything just “proof”. Disappeared. I’m using my Galaxy Note 20 5G fone and I can find a limited number of old widgets, but it won’t let me import or open them. Even so, years of tinkering and saving things I developed as depression therapy via creativity is gone. I really prefer that not be a true statement. Can anyone please help me find why I can’t locate or use working backups? Thanks.

Did you export the widgets?
If not, when they’re gone, they’re gone.
If yes, do you have KWGT Pro (paid)?
If not, you can’t import widgets.
Yes, Ron. Everything worth keeping was exported and untill recently I had no problem importing. However, now it’s not letting me import anything anymore.
Do you get an error when importing?
Check through your file explorer if the backup files are still there (should be inside the [storage]/Kustom folder) and if they have a size that is not 0 bytes
Also check (maybe remove and re-apply) KWGT’s permissions to read/write

Remember too that importing an existing preset will override the existing one with 0 (zero) size… and it is irreversible.

Kwgt also does auto backup there should be “AUTO SAVE” named folder under your kustom folder check to see if auto backup file exists.
