The variables are not applied to the clock

for a very long time i was very satisfied with KWCH but now since an update of the ??clock?? something does not work anymore and i use variables in tasker to show and hide things in the widghet or to load things to have everything at a glance e.g.: the status home office or car → these variables were always displayed correctly until now i use 0 or 1 to show or hide other things directly via the clock. the status Home office or car → these variables have always been displayed correctly so far i use 0 or 1 to show or hide the status that i can select other things directly via the clock or recognize information directly on the numeric keypad => these variables are correctly recognized by tasker correctly converted by KWCH send Variable because on the preview on the cell phone this is correctly recognized and converted 0 or 1 at 0 the status (level) is hidden at 1 faded in. …! I also did a test and simply displayed the number of the variable on the widget, which is also displayed correctly on the cell phone and preview, but not on the clock if I have the number 1 in the office.

Does anyone have an idea? Does the whole thing work for you or don’t you synchronize variables to the clock => or is there another way?

First, go to KWCH app settings >> Watch settings - set both “Global sync mode” and “Data sync mode” to Always. Push your watch face to the watch. After doing that, go to Tasker and manually run the task to which your global variable is linked.

Unfortunately that still doesn’t work. I write with tasker into a variable %Test → I then push this variable with KWCH plugin to kwch_test => I then want to display this with kwch with $br(tasker, kwch_test)$ → This also works on the preview, but not on the clock because 0 is always displayed no matter what is in the variable kwch_test! Am I doing something wrong? => I’ve already tested the whole thing with the beat version and it doesn’t work either!

is there another option? to send my variables to the clock?

I’ve already reset the clock completely, but it just doesn’t work! When I change the variable on the tasker, it changes the variable in time on the preview but not on the clock. It also looks as if the variables that I write in Tasker would not arrive on the clock! If I simulate this with a global variable in KWCH then it is adopted in the preview, but it only adopts the variable on the watch when I actively synchronize it!

Can you try storing the variable from Tasker into a global variable first before displaying it?

I have also now created a global variable in Tasker %TEST I then saved it in KWCH => in kVar but it also behaves exactly the same, the variable is displayed in the preview but not on the clock, not even when I synchronize it! ~> the variables are NOT transferred to the clock! I also had a variable that showed the battery level of my phone on my watch ~> that showed 100% until I reset the watch, since then this status shows 0

If I run a task shortcut on the watch, it is immediately executed on the phone and even if I use the shortcut to switch a variable, the shortcut is executed and displayed on the phone, but the watch is missing the variables => as of today I have installed Android 15 no change, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled everything and also created a new widget = no improvement change! Is it just me that has this problem?

Have you tested 3.77 already?

3.77 is now the version that you can download from the app store, but my synchronization still doesn’t work with it!
Global variables from KWCH are also adopted, but only when I actively synchronize! → Tasker’s variables are generally not transferred to the clock!

So for me it still doesn’t work with the update of the tasker variables! => Is the problem being worked on or do I have to look for something else?

still no change? => please give me a quick bit of information, can it not be integrated again so that I can process variables from tasker again

This stopped working for me as well. Are you running wearOS 5 on your watch?

No, I’m running waerOS 4.0

If you can’t do that then just tell me how I can install an older version on my watch, because if I have an older version on my phone and uninstall everything on the watch → then go to pairing, it will install the "newest one " version, in any case, don’t see each other anymore! => that could solve my problem… → I don’t need the latest version, I need the version that works for me!
