There seems to be an issue with the timezone for Taipei, Taiwan, which is supposed to be UTC+8, same as Beijing, China actually.
I’ve gotten the permanent notification to display the time for my preferred locations set in the KWGT location settings. Taipei time shows up as one hour ahead of Beijing—to illustrate, as of writing this, it’s 17:43 in my home country, Beijing shows up as 00:43, and Taipei shows up as 01:43 where it should say 00:43 as well.
From where is KWGT pulling the timezone data? Could this be fixed by the devs?
From your current screenshot it’s not clear what formula or layer you’re using, and I can’t see the actual timezone settings.
Also, what is the location ‘Bei Jing Shi’? There is no timezone with that name in the official TZ Database. The correct timezone for mainland China is Asia/Shanghai
Well now I feel stupid! The problem wasn’t the timezone, or the location settings… the problem was that the layer timezone was set to Tokyo. And my blind self missed that.
