SOLVED Unread Counter and System Notification doesn't show the number of new Gmail messages

Problem solved by selecting “No restriction” in my phone’s settings. :smiling_face::+1:

I just noticed recently, probably since a few updates of KLWP or KWGT, that both of the $uc(gmail, …)$ and the $ni(pcount, com.google.android.gm)$ functions don’t show the data from Gmail, like the number of new message(s), etc.

However, the message counter works for WhatsApp Messenger, Telegram Messenger, and LinkedIn messages. Those 3 apps are the ones I tried, other than Gmail.

There is no changes nor updates on my presets as well as the app & phone settings since a few months ago.

Could you please investigate on this issue, just in case there is/are changes from either KLWP / KWGT side or even on Gmail side.

Just stumbled upon this - and also had to set “unrestricted” on the KUnread app
