As subject say when ever i use themes like this i always get this glitch and have to re apply the themes this happend when i use games or any app in fullnscreen and try to went back on homescreen it start that glitch.
This isnât a bug, itâs a RAM and GPU management issue. Your theme is extremely âheavyâ with constant animations, and it consumes a lot of resources.
What happens: When you play a game or use a fullscreen app, Android kills KLWPâs background process to give more power to the game. When you return, the theme struggles to ârebuildâ all those moving layers instantly, causing the glitch.
Try to
Set KLWP to âUnrestrictedâ in App Info â Battery.
If possible, disable some non-essential animations in the theme settings to reduce the load.
Heavy themes like this always struggle with aggressive system optimization!
First of all, thank you very much for your quick reply.
Itâs quite disappointing to hear that a theme like mine may not be well supported by my phone or KLWP. Iâm not sure if this helps, but I forgot to mention that my device is a Galaxy S25 Ultra, which should be able to handle most tasks, if Iâm not mistaken.
Having an S25 Ultra is great, but the problem isnât your hardware power itâs how Samsungâs One UI manages background apps.
Even âlightâ themes are heavy: The theme you linked (Kiroshi Core) actually has many layers and masks. When you switch from a full-screen game (which demands 100% GPU) back to the home screen, the system has to âre-renderâ the entire wallpaper from scratch. If thereâs even a split-second delay, you get that glitch.
One UI issue: Samsung is notorious for killing the wallpaper process to keep the game running smoothly. This is a system-level behavior, not a KLWP bug.
Try this last resort:
Open your Recents (multitasking) menu.
Tap the KLWP icon at the top.
Select âKeep openâ (Lock this app).
This forces the system to keep KLWP in RAM even while you are gaming. If that doesnât help, then itâs simply a conflict between the high-load theme and Samsungâs aggressive game mode optimization.
If you watch closely in the video, the animations are not aligned properly. For example, the small yellow circular ring in the middle and the light green element on the right appear and move differently. That is how the theme is supposed to look. Here is the original theme link:
Yes, I already contacted the developer, and they confirmed that this is not an issue with the theme itself. As @MaxP mentioned, it seems to be related to One UI. Samsung is known for stopping the wallpaper process to keep games running smoothly, so this appears to be system-level behavior rather than a bug in KLWP.
