Modifying Battery Meter

I am trying to modify KWGT Finesta 00125 Widget to either: (1) eliminate the battery meter altogether or add text to the widget that would show battery power left %. Please view screen shot.

Showing battery level in text is a simple formula

$bi(level)$%

And those dots will be a “progress” item you can simply remove. Note: some widgets are locked by the author, which may limit how much you can change

Hello, is that something new because I’m return user left using 2 years ago and now just started using in last 1 month but i remember back then its author could lock preset to prevent sharing preset such as no export, no copy anything new added over the years to those locked features list?

I finally stumbled across the answer in case anyone else is interested. You have to add (+) a “text” configuration page from the upper right hand side of the KWGT configuration widget for the “shape” you want to modify and then choose the battery “text” parameters.

But in reloading KWGT I have confronted another issue: the colors of Finesta 00125 “Good Morning India” do not match the Finesta 00039 search bar, below, which has a default blue color on the search button. How do I make the colors match with Finesta 00125? If I long press on the widget it shows a “custom color” option. But it doesn’t change anything. And if I open the widget customization dialog , there is only a “paint” option with C1, C2 & C3, none of which match the colors of Finesta 00125.

If the widget is unlocked by the author so that you are able to make any changes you wish, then just go into the Global Variables and just change one of the existing C1, C2 or C3 colour. Or even add your own C4 colour.

If the widget is not unlocked then you will only be able to change what the author allows you to.

@ Nihilism. Got it!
Thanks!
