Is there a way to trigger a macro through a custom widget because I have looked through the shortcuts section of the touch activities and there is a macrodroid trigger function but when assigning it to a macro it doesn’t work. I then went through the list of macrodroid activities to see if there was anything that lined up with triggering one. Nothing. I know this is a really niche situation but is it possible? If so, is there a way to configure several triggers from one macro onto several buttons in one widget? Thanks!
Currently, there’s no direct integration between the Kustom apps and Macrodroid. You are only limited to shortcuts/activities like any other app. Let’s move this to Ideas instead.
To trigger a Macrodroid macro you need to:
- Create a new macro droid macro
- Add an “empty trigger”
- Add your action
- Add a touch action in Kustom, set it to “open shortcut” and then when you select the shortcut select the appropriate Macro from the list
I have tested this on latest beta and it works.
