I have a technical issue. When I open a KWGT widget in the editor, various layers of the widget are completely misaligned. Somehow, the widget is loaded in the editor with the widget size of another widget that was previously opened. I also don’t know where and how to define the size of the workspace and the widget itself for different widgets. My setup: OnePlus 15, Android 16, KWGT Pro 3.81, Popup Widget 3.8.0, Nova Launcher Prime 8.3.2.
Different widgets are usually designed for different window sizes. What is the window size you’re using on your home screen?
Also, check whether all widget elements are placed inside an Overlap Group or if they are sitting directly in the Root. If everything is in the Root, elements will definitely shift depending on the widget’s window size.
Place all elements inside one Overlap Group and then adjust its scale to match your widget window size.
What do you mean exactly with window size and how do I resize the widget workspace in KWGT? It sees the widget size is not the same as the workspace size and this causes a problem, when I put the KWGT widget into a popup widget.
If I understood you correctly: KWGT doesn’t let you manually set the workspace size.
The workspace size is always defined by the widget size you place on your home screen.
Popup Widget often loads KWGT with the wrong container size, which causes the misalignment.
To fix this, set the correct widget size on your home screen first — KWGT will automatically use that size as the workspace.
If it’s still unclear, please send a screenshot of the KWGT editor and the widget size on your home screen. That will help me understand what exactly is happening.
Thank you so much for your perfect support!
