KLWP no longer auto-updating on screen

I was adding an auto-scrolling bar when I noticed that my KLWP stopped functioning. It no longer was refreshing by seconds.
The gif in its background runs smoothly but not any of the code.

I tried everything: making sure it wasn’t battery optimized, making sure it runs in background, checked refresh rates, reset my phone, stopped the infinite text carousel, etc. I’m not sure what else to do other than uninstall and reinstall KLWP, which is nerve-wracking since my exported presets corrupt themselves.

Background info:
I have 7 pages in the wallpaper.
I run Tasker for some functions.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S25.
I run Nova Launcher.

Anything else I will be more than happy to answer.

Edit: I turned on the “text carousel” at the bottom and it updates fine. But, my music player and dashboard aren’t still. I’m assuming it went across the board… I wonder if it is my globals?
I found force updating with Tasker every time I unlock my phone to temporarily fix the issue, but I’d still love to see my features live.

Does your Samsung auto update Android with the monthly rollouts? I’m pretty confident right now that KLWP is incompatible with the newest version of Android 16. I literally just updated my Pixel 7 Pro this morning and my wallpaper has become completely unusable when it was working just fine immediately prior to restarting my phone to complete the update.

edit: btw regarding your corrupted presets- do you have more than like 3 presets saved in your main Kustom folder? Idk the exact number but if you have too many presets saved in the main folder, eventually one will get corrupted and then anything you try to load after that will get corrupted too. It’s best to keep only a few of them saved there at any given time and move all others to a separate folder. Personally, I only keep a max of 3 in there to be safe and completely move files I’m not planning on going back into again any time soon out of .\Kustom\ to .\Documents\KLWPBackups. So if I do need it again, I’ll just copy+paste it back into .\Kustom\
