KLWP on Samsung Galaxy S8.

My items on the wallpaper are set to "Always" visible, except for the top-layer items, which are visible "If Locked". This simulates a lock screen. When initially applying my KLWP wallpaper, the transition is smooth—I lock my screen from the home screen, and when waking it, all items visible "if locked" are immediately visible.

However, after a few moments (probably after cache builds and processes run), the transition doesn't happen immediately. I will wake my phone, and immediately see my home screen without "if locked" items. After a split second, all "if locked" items show. This is reset when I revert my wallpaper to an image, and back to KLWP. It will work, then the delay will kick in again.

Is there a way to get around this? Should I just use 2 different KLWPs for home/lock screens? Should I try out KLCK?
