I’d like to use KLWP on my lock screen to display a few simple things that change, such as a clock.
I can display them, but they don’t update.
Is there a setting I’m missing, either in my phone or in KLWP?
Pixel 7pro with total launcher (but I don’t think total launcher affects the lock screen at all). Other live wallpapers work normally on it.
Letting me know that it works for you or that it doesn’t but you’ve tried would be helpful

I tried that but it’s not really a lock screen as much as a flash screen that needs to be clicked away before the phone’s managed lock screen opens anyway.
This is due to an Android limitation. It does not allow 3rd party lock screen apps to manage the phone’s security.
I know. That’s why I was hoping kustom live wallpaper would do the trick, since that’s all I really want. I’m happy with the android lock mechanism.
Other live wallpapers work on my lock screen, and KLWP comes so close. It just doesn’t update.
Does it work on the home screen?
I infer that it does, because you’re talking about the lock screen, but I have an issue where it’s frozen on the home screen, so I’m curious what it is about my wallpaper that causes it to freeze. I’ve tried using some templates that are pre-existing, and those did work. So there may be something specific to what we’re doing in our wallpaper that is causing it not to work in the cases we want.
I’m using KLWP as my homescreen AND lockscreen currently, its working great and correctly updating, even though my wallpaper is rather complex. So I’m not really sure what kind of problems you guys are facing right now. I’m currently on Redmi Note 9 running android 12.
Forgot to mention that I also use total launcher, so yeah total launcher is not the problem. If I have to guess, there’s likely some options in KLWP which makes it not update (something like parallel rendering perhaps?), or some battery restrictions probably.
