When I control the volume of my Sonos system and Cast devices I can do that and see the volume (labeled fx. Spotify or Sonos) with the volume rocker and volume menu slider on my phone.
However KWGT only seem to have a value for the phone’s internal music volume.
How do I get the volume value of the device I’m currently controlling, when I’m controlling another device? I use it for a meter and would like for it to show volume for the currently controlles device, or phone media volume if no device is being controlled. I use my Sonos system a lot, so would really love this functionality.
Thank you for your help!
Hi there
I’m not sure if it’s possible, but perhaps you could check and try Tasker or Automate apps, the probably have a capability to control other devices over Bluetooth.
If either Tasker or Automate have such capabilities, then you can trigger a command to Tasker or Automate from KWGT preset or KLWP preset.
I hope this would help.

Hi Baju
It:s not when it’s connected to bt, cause that’s controlled by the internal media volume. It’s when controlling/casting to another device where the phone doesn’t stream music to it but rather works as a remote that controls the other device playback and volume.
I’ll try uploading an image of how it looks.
When controlling/casting to other device like Sonos or Spotify Connect
It’s a separate volume control than the phone’s internal media volume.
