[HELP] Display day of the week in only 2 letters

Hi everyone,
I’m trying to display the day of the week in just 2 letters (for example: Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa, Su) in a KWGT widget.

I know the formula $df(EEE)$ returns the 3-letter abbreviation (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun), but I haven’t found a way to shorten it to 2 letters only.

I’ve tried using conditions and substring methods, but none of them worked as expected.
Any ideas or working formulas?

Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

Try this code snippet:

$tc(cut, df(EEE), 2)$

NOTES

  • $df(EEE)$ ➞ get the day of week (shortened)
  • $tc(cut, [text], 2)$ ➞ get the first 2 characters from the [text]

I hope this would help.

Thanks You so much @Baju_Santiko

What do you think of my work? The top right icon (+) opens the form for adding a new Google Calendar event. Events change dynamically, etc.
