A new rectangle shape option that can have the rounded corners like the squircle shape.

A representation of this shape can be achieved in Figma software by creating a rectangle of the desired dimensions → creating rounded rectangle using the corner radius option → (most important step) using the corner smoothing option to smooth out the corners.
Thus creation a rounded rectangle with the corners similar to a squircle shape.

That’s already available unless I misunderstand you completely. Make a square or rectangle shape, then directly under where you enter the size information is the field Corners where you can set the amount of rounding you want.
