So one day i opened my phone and the widgets kind of bugged so idk what i pressed but it all was suddenly gone. But, the widgets was still there on the app and its making me reach maximum. I read someone deleted the app and reinstalled to delete the widgets that is in-app. But i already have made a lot of new widgets and dont want to lose them again. Any solution?
It’s not quite clear what ‘maximum limit’ you are talking about. Are you using the Free or Pro version of KWGT?
If you want to keep your work safe, just Export your preset. Once exported, it stays in your Kustom folder forever as a file. Even if you delete the app, your files remain in that folder. You can just import them back later.
I’m not only seeing them in my Library, but Auto - Backup and other places. But even when showing a file with bulk to it, when selected I get a pop up saying that the existing file will be erased and replaced.
Well, it does erase the file and replaces it with a Null, Zero kb file and nothing anywhere opens. I have had this happen to every piece I’ve created. I have the Pro Version and get nauseated every time I see it or come across a screenshot of any of them. I just don’t want to touch it anymore. You can do great things with it. But in short order they go away. So why bother?!
I faced this exact same problem a long time ago. Here is how I fixed it:
I stopped using the ‘Import’ button altogether. Instead, I move all my files into the correct Kustom folders beforehand using only a file manager. I highly recommend using Solid Explorer—you can even open and import files from any Android folder without any data loss. Just set it to ‘Open with’ Kustom once.
I solved this issue for myself many years ago this way, and I really hope this method helps you save your work too.
I second that, copying/moving a preset file, directly using a file manager app, is preferable for me. Never have any issue with adding & removing a preset from the library list, just directly copy/move the file using a file manager app.
I hope this would help.
