Component didn't locked

I purchased the key, but I have a problem when I export a protected widget. I put the items inside a component and click on the lock at the top and export it. Anyone can open it by clicking on the lock again and showing the items. I want it not to open again and show that the file is protected. How do I do that?

Hi there,

As far as I remember, when you use you own locked komponent (using your same user account), the komponent is always editable.

Try to use the locked komponent using a different user account, to check if the locked komponent can be re-export.

I created this komponent to test whether anyone can unlock it and/or re-export it.

Steps to use it

  1. Download the file (it’s a .zip archive file)
  2. Rename the downloaded file, remove the .zip from the end of the filename.
  3. Move the renamed file (the .komp file) to the komponents folder, under your Kustom installation folder.
  4. Use the komponent.

Thank you for the reply. The file u sent is not closed and all the elements inside it have been modified. Unfortunately, I did that and sent it and my friend told me that it is not closed as well. The problem is in the latest update of the application because I used an old version and it works correctly. I hope an update is released that solves this problem soon because my work needs it.

Yep this is bug indeed I did export with read only option with my Google account and it doesn’t lock component. You can simply confirm bug by looking at json file inside that komp export by changing extension of file to zip then opening komponent.json and it’s locked tag is false. @frank
Seems only komponent export are affected klwp exports with lock tag working.

Thanks for reporting this, its a Komponent only issue, i am now uploading a new 3.80 build, will update this thread once out. EDIT: version v3.80b522706 is out
