Similar to how you can make a widget a still photo on the home screen, I am wanting to do the same thing but use a live wallpaper… Is that possible?
No, this is not possible. KWGT does not currently support animations due to some Android limitations.

You can rename KWGT to KLWP and viceversa then import them, it will work but as @Ace said you won’t get anymations and probably the layout will look weird, better to use Komponents to have portable objects
