I have a minor issue with KLCK that I have been unable to resolve. The background image is not shown completely. The top of the screen, approximately 1/4 inch is black. If I revert to the native lock screen, I see the entire background with no black bar. Any assistance appreciated. Thank you.
If you have a front camera notch, make sure to allow KLCK to display in full screen and to draw on top of other apps.
I do have a notch but the options to which you refer are not present in KLCK. Got everything from app language to main storage but nothing to allow to display in full screen or draw over other apps. Nor in the app permissions on my Android 14 phone.
Display over other apps is allowed.
I have no option (Android 14) to allow KLCK to display in full screen. This I believe might be the culprit but there is no switch I can find to display in full screen.
That’s odd. May I have the make and model of your device?
Mine is the new Unihertz Jelly Max. (https://www.unihertz.com/products/jelly-max).
I’ve been reading the camera cutout is causing the issue on Android 14.
I’m running Android 14 on a device with a notch and this seems to work fine for me. I suggest you check with the device’s manufacturer and see if they can guide you where the full screen apps setting is located on this device.
