I have updated kwgt, klwp, and klck to the 3.80 beta. If I try to add an icon, a star is added. If I try to change the icon, a page with a search bar comes up with 3 boxes below :source, category, and sort. A black box flashes momentarily at the bottom of the screen. Otherwise, it is blank. I cannot even access the icons in my kustom folder. In fact, I can’t use icons at all now…

This all happens if my vpn and ad blocker are on or off.

Have you checked whether the icon files (both .ttf and .json files) are already in the icons folder?
I hope this would help.
Using icons was never an issue prior to this beta release. Of course, only locally downloaded icons were used. And, yes, my kustom/icons folder contains many font icon files with both their json and ttf files present.
Today’s beta, 3.80b518112beta, appears to have fixed the issue… Thanks!
But… Today I noticed that the icon picker doesn’t find all of the font icons located in the kustom/icons folder that is located in the main storage, not on the SD card.
After update to 3.80b518112beta, I can now access the icon packs stored locally as well as the iconify icons. Seems cured now!
yes, local icon not displaying and original problem mentioned by OP(DctrBnsttr) should also be solved since I can also add svg that are from internet.
