Widget will start "loading" at random

Hi,

I have the latest KWGT AOSP installed running Android 12 and nova launcher.

For some reason the simple clock widget I have will start loading at random, even with the phone unlocked.

The widget will disappear and the loading text will appear for several seconds.

Is there a fix for this? Thanks

Just have the same issue, it makes widgets much less useful if I have to wait for them to load.

Also I noticed that whenever I try to launch kwgt when widgets are "loading" the app itself crashes and I have to force stop it to be able to launch it again.
