Using globals in complex animations

It would be awesome if we could use globals to adjust the rotation, centers, offsets etc. inside of the animator of complex animations. Also.... a skew option would be pretty sweet too. I know I mentioned that before already. :)

Is there any update on this? This seems like a really really useful idea - all too often we're entering the same numer that could/should be a global.

I have not heard anything yet.... would be great though.
