With last update v3.30, making a change and re-setting wallpaper, will show blank (black in my case) background, but no elements. If I set a different wallpaper and then select KLWP, it will show correctly.

Can you try to reboot once and see if that is still happening?
Rebooted but the problem persists. Only if I first choose a different wallpaper, does it work.
