KLWP Touch Input not working

Issue

After about 5-10 minutes, touch interactions don’t work at all on the home screen. I have to Force Close KLWP and re-apply KLWP Live Wallpaper to regain function. But it seems to only last a little while before touch input is lost again.

I’ve used KLWP and this Preset for many years. Everything works inside the KLWP editor, I know the preset works.

What I have done already

  1. Fresh install of KLWP + Pro Key.
  2. Disabled battery optimization for both KLWP and Smart Launcher.
  3. Enabled KLWP advanced settings: “Use Direct Touch” and “Parallel rendering”. Tried with each on separately and combined. Neither configuration resolved issue.
  4. Fresh reboot of phone

KLWP was last updated on August 18th 2025, Smart Launcher on October 1st 2025, so most likely it’s a Smart Launcher issue…
