Case Sensitivity in Formulas

I am a newbie here so sorry for being dumb. I have already had issues with this regarding font icon names reported here. I have looked and cannot seem to find a reference that speaks to this topic in a general way...

Does KWGT treat ALWAYS as equal to always or Always or alWays? If not or if not in all cases, what are the rules that are applied and where is this documented?

As far as I know, it's case insensitive except for file/folder name .
