Hi all, I saw a slightly similar post relating to this but not the answer I need.
I specify ‘Capitalize’ but in just about EVERY occasion that capitals are used in my clock display the capitals are NOT correct. e.g. My diary today has NUE (means something to me) but my clock display simply has ‘Nue’. Other occurrences might be names which all have initial capital letters but not ever in my clock, they are always lower case.
No I don’t believe I do. Where or how would I add that command to the text lines I am using? Typically a line would read… Text here with CAPITAL LETTERS as these are coming from my calendar, some printed in capitals in my calendar but not in my clock.
Thanks but wouldn’t that put EVERYTHING in that ‘string’ as capitals? I only want the words and letters that are in my calendar/appointments to appear exactly as they do in my calendar on my clock, which doesn’t happen. Why does Kustom change them to lower case?
Could you please copy & paste an example of the text you would like to change?
Perhaps one of us here could help you on that.
By the way, are you using Google Calendar or other Calendar system? I use Google Calendar and I don’t see any appointments altered in their capitalization, I mean KLWP | KWGT | KLCK don’t change the calendar data to be either lowercase or uppercase. It fully depends on us whether we want it to be in lowercase or uppercase.
I’ll add that aside from what you put in your formula, there’s also text filters you can choose further down in the list of properties (called “Filters” on the “Text” tab). Make sure you don’t have “lowercase” or “uppercase” checked there, as that will affect the text you return from your formula.
So, if this has worked there are 2 screenshots below. Yes, it’s Google calendar and this is just a basic example of what’s happening. Google calender has NUE on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon while on my clock it’s Nue. Sometimes a similar ‘event’ could show as ‘nue’.
