Bitmap gradient alpha channels broken

Inside new komponent, add shape, texture>bitmap. Picked logo with transparent bg. Have Mode(Fit Center, Repeat, Mirror), Filter(None, B&W, Sepia, Desat, Invert, Colorize, Hue), Blur, Dim, Shadow.

I can choose clear for the filter under the Paint tab but that ignores the alpha channel of the PNG and just clears a square.

I get the same. Multiply/add/overlay etc all work as expected, but clear just clears the whole shape regardless of the varying alpha values in the bitmap.

I had similar issues when making some drop shadow komponents. Although It actually worked correctly with a couple of downloaded png files I had, but not the other 10 or 12. Your other option is to use "colourize" and match the colour to the background .
