This occured around the time of the last release, but I'm not sure if it corresponded with the update. My birthday calendar from Google Calendar no longer shows any of its events when I use the Calendar functions. Anyone else have this problem?
I'm having the same issue. Need urgent fix
After digging into the issue I found out that it's Google Calendar that changed its policy which I suppose affected only Google Workpace (G Suite) users. So to enable the birthday calendar in external applications you have to follow these instructions: https://support.google.com/a/answer/60765?hl=en#zippy=%2Callow-or-restrict-external-sharing and enable external sharing. It takes some time (up to 24 hours) for the settings to apply after which birthday shall be visible in KW.
