Battery current stats are completely broken

I got a new device running Android 14.

I’ve imported my old komps for battery (dis)charge over time.

They work until I plug in my charger. Then every single value updates in time with the current value. Going back to whenever my komps began displaying it.

Previously, I reported via Reddit that the battery stats will not read properly beyond around 2,500mA input.

I own multiple devices, with multiple charging bricks. OnePlus devices with 30+watt chargers. Motorola devices with 5-15w adapters.

My latest device supports PD; I now notice these issues while trying to troubleshoot my charging rates. I had a very long hiatus from needing the widgets, so I’m unsure when this issue popped up. I know 2 years ago it wasn’t there (last time I bought a new device and utilized this info via Kustom)

Can you provide a formula that is not working and say what is not working exactly? Please also confirm you are on latest release, there was a bug some version ago on the discarghing/charging code.

$bi(current,r+(si(mindex,1))+m)$mA

I am on the latest Play Store Beta.

Ok so the problem is that battery “current” reading never goes above 2500ma on your device?

:man_facepalming: Am I writing in Chinese or something?

All I can do now is repeat myself again.

Reddit, review on the beta, and now here.

1 I’ve repeatedly reported the issue of current never reading over 2.5A

2 I’ve reported the usage of simindex ON BATTERY CURRENT, to show previous values, is broken.

You could at least be a bit more friendly to someone who’s trying to help you…

It may not seem like it to you but starting from the title of this thread you appear to be displaying a bit of an attitude. “Completely broken” seems a bit excessive for two stats that aren’t currently doing what you want.

Additionally for app that you possibly paid CDN$7.99 for, at current pricing, your expectations of immediate and rapid support may be somewhat unrealistic. Frank isn’t Google, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. Things usually get resolved with a little calm patience.
