I have been using KWGT for a few years and just recently paid for pro. I only manage to make simple widgets because I don't feel the formula editor is to my liking. I think the suggested formulas are a nice touch, but to make it truly shine would be to have suggestions inline with a helper dialog. I understand this is a complex feature, but I think it would be so much more helpful. I can work on a mockup of what I'm suggesting.
